Paragould...Back when it was the BULLDOGS and had a football tradition.  1984 was my Senior football season and we were the first Bulldog team to reach the Quarterfinals of the State Playoffs since the 1948 team.

Are you serious?  I remember that team!

Tell me more...are you from NE Arkansas etc...what gives?

Nah, I was just messing with you.  I have driven through Paragould before, though.  Welcome to the board!

Harrison High class of 97

we didn't do much while I played, just a semi-upset of hope in the playoffs my senior year, a week before Watson Chapel blew us out royally.

bombers should love me, it was one of the guys I was supposed to block that got to the blocked field goal when mtn home tied us my senior year, the first time we had failed to beat them in YEARS.

I was the class that moved up to high school in burls' last year, and graduated with a sophomore named richie butler playing te and punting.

What has happened to East Arkansas football?
Back in the day playing the Blytheville Chicks was akin to facing Attila the Hun and his horde.
The DeWitt Dragons, Osceola, Jonesboro, Wynne, Stuttgart, Clarendon, Parkin, Walnut Ridge, Paragould, Wilson, Brinkley all had good football teams. Is this lost and gone for ever.

Go Cardinals.  Would have been class of 88 at Camden Fairview...but because of my dad's job, graduated from Jonesboro.

Sister graduated from Fairview in 80...brother in 83.

Wynne's still a good program, sitting atop of the AAAAA classification.

Midway High School, Kingston TN class of 1955.  Still a rural school , one of the top small school division programs in TN.  Not nearly as many classifications as in Arkansas

It really is this simple. Unchecked government power leads to corruption, and lack of accountability for it is drastically eroding confidence in our institutions.    aristotle

That's crazy. My dad graduated from Wabbaseka. He always told me that he was in the top 10 of his class until some new girl moved in and brought the class total to 11.

I graduated Searcy High School class of 2000.

I have the distinction of being in the 1st class designated as  Fort Smith Northside, class of 63. Have always hated that name.
