Small school recruiting

Are there any small school recruits out there (2A or maybe 3A) that could have a shot at D1 ball? These guys really scare me... Think it's a HUGE adjustment from 2a high school ball to big time college football. One name I have heard is the monta Thomas kid. Any info on him?
