I don't think he was arrested for yelling at CBB but instead being combative with the officers once they encountered him.

Well, if the guy actually did say that, he's right. The rest of us would be fired for being 22-22 in any aspect of our jobs.

Rayzback

We saw a drunk guy walking up to the stadium chanting loudly, "F**k Nick Saban".  Walked right into 3 cops and was arrested before kick off. Kind of funny when he asked, '"What I do?" :O

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

I find his article "Effect of warming temperatures on US wheat yields" to be totally unacceptable. I think I'll go down to the UofA Agri Building and yell at this guy.

See how the university deals with him. He has a code of conduct which he flushed down the toilet.

This jackass works for the University?  What an embarrassment.  That kind of behavior from one of our own should not be tolerated.

What does that have to do with being drunk at a game?

I think he means, us conservatives were drinking and cussing in our suites, while the working class was drunk down in the stands.

HotlantaHog

Cursing at the coach is not the best idea and kind of trashy. I would certainly not do it. On the other hand, I feel a little empathy for him. I agree with him in spirit.  He showed some fire. Glad to see fans upset over the performance at home in Year 4 for a coach. You expect to win most of your home games,  even against very good teams, or at minimum be competitive.

He's likely part of the jack wagon crowd that want's to have you arrested because you may not agree with their global warming theory.

How would you feel if he came to where you work and yelled curses at you?

I'd ask him if my ex-wife sent him, then I'd escort him off the property while asking him if he needed a job putting in spills.

Why are the police confronting a guy for cursing a guy out? Unless he was behaving as if he might be drunk, or something.

He was booked for PI

Scott Varady asked the officers to speak with the man, he was arrested for PI, not for cussing our coach.

That's my point exactly. I was being sarcastic about actually going to the campus and yelling at him. I know I wouldn't like it and I'm certain he would call campus security.

Stuff like that happens at every school and has since football began.
There were a couple of time I wouldn't have wanted to be Hatfield running off the field - Miami game and a loss to Texas in LR. It was brutal.
Inside every "older" person is a younger person wondering what the hell happened?

Our coach wasn't running off the field. He stands at entrance to the restroom and talks to the players as they leave the field. We also have recruits and their families down there too.

We can crowd fund his bail

If he got booked for public intox then you won't need to bail him out.  Sit in drunk tank for 8-12 hours then usually given a citation and released

I wouldn't like it but first I would have to have a job for him to visit.

Hog fan since 1960. So thankful for Sam Pittman.
