to ensure a place in the Big Dance. Would be like a ray of sunshine that could launch the program on to biggers and better things. This stretch run is crucial.

You'd have to think 11 would be the minimum, unless the RPI of the wins works out weird.

That said, I expect this team to be tournament bound.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

An 11-5 finish would put us at 23-8 at the end of regular season. Nice improvement over last year's 16-15 campaign.
Hoping the Hogs basketball fortunes change for the better this season.

Should put us solidly in the tournament. SEC tourney wins would be icing on the cake.

I see us winning out at home. That's 8 more wins. I think we win 3-4 more on the road in SEC play not even counting Oklahoma State. I fully expect to be playing for seeding entering the SEC tournament.

redleg

I can see a 24-7 record, 12-6 in the SEC. That is Tournament-worthy, even without a win in the SEC Tourny.
24-8 would be about an 8 seed, 25-8 or 26-8 would be about a 6 or 7 seed.

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

I just want us in the same bracket with KY and get a shot at them without SEC refs.

So who do you have as our toughest remaining out at home? Not in terms of Vegas oddsmaking but from your gut feeling.

I would not. Kentucky is a tough team later in the year even more so than now.  I would love the bracket we are projected in right now.

I'd have to say A&M based on talent. They could be playing better come February 22.

They got beaten pretty good in College Station by the Tennessee team the Hogs beat in Knoxville.

Frazier and Maten make me feel like its going to be Ga. giving us a really tough test. I think we will win it though. Just going to need to bring it to close out the season the right way.

Oh yeah, I forgot!  College Basketball always works out perfectly accordingly to how two opponents play each other!

...but I hope you end up being right this time.

GA because they may be the physically toughest and Vandy because they could lose their minds from three.  Their 3PTs-made FAR outpace the rest of the SEC, and amazingly so does their 3PT% of 40.5%.  That's cray.

WMHawgfan

These next four games will tell the tale. These are very winnable games. We need to sweep them or at worst go 3-1. Anything worse sets up for another disappointing year in the SEC.

We should win the rest of our home games, and beat Mizzou, Awbarn and LSU on the road, we could be at 23-7 Without a top 40 type win.

With our schedule, we just have to avoid the bad losses.
