I think if only one game between the two is scheduled a coin fiip to decide home court would be proper, but one would think since money drives things, a home and home would bring more revenue to all party's.

Clark Lea finally provides update on quarterback battle timeline
by: Justin Rudolph

Quote"It's set up to continue on through the summer and into fall camp. I was pleased today with the fact that we didn't turn the ball over; that's something we've harped on all spring," said Lea. "I think it was on the ground once and the offense was able to recover it. All three guys have flashed obviously I felt like Blaze (Berlowitz) had some throws today that were impressive. But yeah, we're gonna introduce some new people in that competition heading into the summer. We'll open it back up in the fall.

"One thing that I want to have happened there early is to lock in on some guys that we're going to give the lion share of the reps. Because ultimately, we're not going to be able to have five people compete for one job. We have to set it up so that you're looking at three; three becomes two. And then, ultimately, by the time we're playing, two becomes one."

Berlowitz looks to have the inside track for the Commodores' starting quarterback position. However, it does not appear that he has done enough to solidify himself as the season-opener starter. As of now, Lea still has his options open.

Lea adds WR Dariyan Wiley
Lea recently added to the Commodores' offense with another off-season acquisition. Former UMass and ULM wide receiver Dariyan Wiley committed to Vanderbilt just before the summer.

Doesn't Trilly have a verified and unverified section on his discord? Wonder which one this Thiero business was under...

Do love this though. No one can ever admit they just ran with an incorrect rumor and they didn't do much at all to see for themselves if it was anything more than a rumor.

Quote from: Philip Seaton on Today at 07:35:15 amYou do realize that coaches have zero to do with NBA paperwork right? Now, he may have issue with his playing time last season or the way he was used, but the draft process is totally on the player.
No didn't realize that. Just going off what I had read.

QuoteIf you recall, Thiero initially entered the NCAA transfer portal while also publicly declaring for the draft on March 28th. John Calipari was still the head coach at Kentucky then and didn't leave for Arkansas until April 9th.

Well, according to Trilly Donovan on Discord, Calipari's staff forgot to submit Thiero's paperwork for the 2024 draft before leaving for Arkansas, even though they had over a week to do so before that move was made.

Quote from: PorkRyan on Yesterday at 11:01:05 pmThat's a scary team in the post season. They have a lot of talent.

How would you like to a regional host and see LSU as the three-seed?  😳

wouldn't releasing a top five help to set off said bidding war.  I can see were it might limit bids from other schools but it's never stopped other schools from recruiting a player where they might not be in the top five in the past.

Quote from: Salty spork on Yesterday at 08:08:27 pmAlright. So we are acknowledging that some schools are better than others. If thats all i can get, I will leave it there. good enough.

Yes depending on what criteria is used to define "better".
