Sunday's crowd was actually the lightest of the weekend. It was still it's notoriously vocal self and everything they did to Almquist was on the up-and-up. No malice, just good, old-fashioned ribbing. Everything baseball should be. For the weekend, Arkansas (3-0) sold 29,354 tickets – a season-opening weekend record.

Dudy Noble Field actually seats just 7200 but they squeeze in gigantic crowds. I guess a lot of standing room and grass sitting. Mississippi State owns the NCAA single record on-campus baseball crowd of 15,886 against Ole Miss in 2014.

Mississippi State has all of the top 11 on-campus crowds in the history of college baseball. Overall, DNF-PDS has held 12 crowds over 12,000 and 40+ crowds over 10,000.  The Left Field Lounge is one of the top places to watch a game.

I was there for the Tuesday - Wednesday series with ASU when we were both ranked #1 in different polls. Broke the attendance record each night if I'm not mistaken. That was some incredible baseball
