Thats why I think B. Mitchell thrived and why Bryant leaving affected so much. Does anyone know the the athleticism of the 2012 class? If McKay comes aboard, i know that will help as well.

I am always ready for Hog Ball!

The football season has no bearing on my excitement for basketball season to begin.

I know I'm in the minority, but I rank Hog basketball above Hog football every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Has a lot to do with the era in which I grew up, but for me personally there is just nothing better than watching the Hogs run up and down the court!
Woo Pig Sooiee!  Can't wait for the season to tip off.  I'm hoping for a much more competitive team this season.

We are also heavily recruiting Aaron Ross (6'7" PF), Ryan Taylor (6'5" SF), DJ Bennett (6'9" C), and a few others. I expect us to add at least one more player, probably two.

I am not sure..they all fit very well into CMA's system and all bring different things to the table.

Brandon Mitchell will start Spring football practice next week, so his basketball season will be over unless he has made arrangements with CBP.

The basketball season will likely be over Thur or Friday, so I don't think it will be an issue.

As for the athletes argument.  Nolan made his hay by recruiting basketball players that were also athletic.  His downfall came when started relying on athlets that were trying to play basketball.  If MA gets bball players that are athletci, he will turn things around, but if it is the opposit, we will have a bunch of 18-20 wins season, and be perpetually on the ncaat bubble at best.
People ask me what I do in winter when there is no baseball.  I will tell you what I do. I stare out the window, and I wait for spring.
