They have lost all credibility with me with the following team:

Just looking at OFs on the team for players in the SEC, how could you include Cameron Misner from Mizzou and leave off both Dominic Fletcher and Carlos Cortes?  It is unacceptable to have an oversight like that.

For comparison....

Fletcher hit .297 with 7 doubles, 1 triple,  12 home runs, and had 37 RBIs for a team who made the SECT championship and hosted a regional. He also struck out 36 times.

Misner hit .282 with 12 doubles, 7 homers, 34 RBI and swiped 17 bases and struck out 55 times for a team who missed the NCAAT.

Cortes hit .286 with 9 doubles, 1 triple, 12 homers, and 41 RBIs. He also swiped 5 bags and struck out 27 times for a team who missed the NCAAT

Also, so someone doesn't think it has to do with better play in the field:

Misner FLD%: .976

Fletcher FLD%: .978

Fletcher is also very well respected for his defensive ability and teams didn't try to challenge him much this year by taking the extra base.

This is not a new development as far as the quality of collegiate baseball...

Most of the old college baseball publications started to lose quality about tenish years ago to me when college baseball started really developing and it wasn't the same handful of teams in omaha every year.  You actually had to cover the sport to stay on top of it

That is ridiculous.
