I'm watching the Texas / UCLA game right now and the ump just called a batter back for leaning into the pitch with an elbow pad.  Should college baseball potentially look into a rule of tossing hitters who clearly lean into the pitch with an elbow pad to try and steal a base runner?

It's not baseball.  Baseball is meant to be played on grass, but it seems like teams are going to that fake grass stuff which I hate seeing.  It means you get more cheap high chopper hits as well as it plays faster.  I still remember the effect it had on us in Manhattan during regional play in 2013.

Definitely changes the game.

For those of you watching other games as casual fans, throw a little love to Davidson tonight.  3 full scholarship players.  Never have been to a CWS.  Their coach was nearly killed by a drunk driver 5 years ago.  Never have sent a player to the majors or had one leave school early.  And they lead UNC 2-1 in the 6th, one win away from super regionals.
