Trying to figure out how to watch the game online. Does anyone know how to get live video if channelsurfing doesn't have the game?

gfricke

gfricke

Good Lord.

If you feel the need to see LSU get murdered, you could just wait until Saturday :D
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Memphis is a little overrated right now IMO. Instead of concentrating on playing team basketball, they looked like a bunch of hot shots playing 1 on 1 basketball too much. LSU on the other hand, is playing as a team.

LSU will not be as bad as people think they will.

Memphis is young, they started 3 freshmen tonight, and had 5 freshmen log significant minutes overall.  The game was in Tupelo, at BancorpSouth Arena in front of 7,941, a far cry below the 17,873 in the FedEx Arena vs. Miami on national television the other night. Memphis also drew 16,215 for the NW State game at FedEx last Wednesday.
Point being, a young team, on the road/neutral sight, may have not been ready to play.  Memphis is very, very talented, but they are a work in progress.  And perhaps LSU is better than advertised. Time will tell.

Brass Knob

Game was UGLY... The refs were the stars tonight. 54 fouls called in the game. There was literally 0 flow to the game. I hope those guys do not ref any of our games!

JONAS

Memphis will get a whole lot better.

Neither will the SEC, for that matter. I think 10 of the 12 SEC basketball teams will be able to beat the 10-12 worst teams in the NBA, just like last year.

IDK about all that, but LSU makes those two guaranteed wins look a lot harder. I hope we can pull out 5-8 wins in conference play the more I see other teams play.

Why do you keep saying stuff like that? It's getting annoying.

Thank you.  I don't know why the Pel haters still think that sarcasm regarding how good the SEC is or how good we've been in the past is funny.

The SEC isn't good, and we haven't been good in the past. No sarcasm is needed for that.

Then why is he constantly making sarcastic comments about the SEC in just about every thread in Jumpball?

We all know the SEC is down.

Have to ask him. But some people use sarcasm as a way of just making light of a tough situation. I can be that way at times as well.

It was a rhetorical question based on your comment that it wasn't needed but still seems to be in abundance.

There's a difference between making light of a tough situation and bringing up said tough situation, unsolicited, in a sarcastic manner on a frequent basis. No one's even talking about how good or bad the SEC is.

It's a reference to last year when someone (can't remember who) said that Kentucky wouldn't lose a league game and could beat the 10 worst NBA teams (New Jersey, Philly etc.) We all laughed and had fun with it. I suggest you do the same.
