a picture paints a thousand words then why can't I paint you?

He is a cool story, but not what I would call fleet of foot like Mr. Skipper.  Perhaps only on special teams as a blocker upper.
To add a "sig line" or "signature line": Go to your "profile" then go to "modify profile" then scroll down to where it says "Signature" and type in what you want it to say and then click on "change profile". That's it, you're done. Your sig line will only show up on your first post on each page.

he could just be used as a talking point player.the announcers need something to beat to death.

He makes Mt. Cody look like a grassy knoll.
I said...LSU has often been an overrated team.

That ignoramus Draconian Sanctions said..if we're overrated, why are we ranked higher than you are?

Sr. In high school in new york. Beliema likes em big. Any chance we are looking at this kid?

Sure. Just give him a red cape, checkered flag and a eulogy speech for the QB's funeral.
There are fans and there are supporters. The latter carries the weight.

Thread already in Recruiting.  he could simply lay down at nose guard and impede any rushing game

Calling All Hogs

I would like to see what Herb could do with that. He supposedly already squats a 1,000 pounds and bench presses 200 pounds 20 times.

Lmao...funniest post I have read all week

If nothing else he could start, play one snap, and we could keep the moniker of "the biggest Oline in all of football". I mean that alone wins at least 3 games a year. Hell...with him starting you could play Anton Beard at center and we would STILL have the biggest Oline if all of football.

Pig in the Pokey

Now there are two threads on this guy? Oh, boy. This is the unfortunate part of already having 19 commits I guess.

Too tall. We have seen the problems too much height gives our man skipper.

WriterWrong

He would make a great field-goal blocking specialist with Skipper graduating.

I get where you're coming from, but Skipper is our best lineman.

High School and college teams always inflate players height and weight. I'm thinking if he is good enough to make it to the NFL combine one of these days they will find he is only 7'0 395.

people that large often have genetic/health problems to go with it.

I obviously don't know if that is the case, but I would be cautious and be sure to get a medical work up prior to offering.

Though, I think Andre the Giant didnt start having problems til later in life.

Acromegaly
Giantism occurs when a tumor in the pituitary gland at the base of your brain produces huge amounts of human growth hormone (HGH) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), that cause:
• excessive growth of everything in the body except the brain because the tight skull limits how much the brain can grow.
• large muscles that fill up with salt that makes them larger, but also weaker.
• tiredness
• diabetes (HGH and IGF-1 block insulin)
• high blood pressure.
• heart attacks and strokes from the diabetes and high blood pressure
• colon cancer (HGH causes precancerous polyps to form in the colon)
• sexual problems including impotence
• headaches.
• vision problems

Designated FG blocker?

Skip is an athlete who played other HS sports. This guy obviously plays basketball, but a quick look at the tape reveals he can hardly move. I doubt he ends up on a D1 roster. His basketball stats that I've seen show that he doesn't appear to be much of an athlete, rather just one large human being.

Put him in on short yardage as the Nose Tackle. And on every punt and Extra Point.

I've noticed they are also kinder, gentler, sweet souls... Not what you want on a D-Line, but maybe if he loved his QB enough it would work...

I don't like his size. Unless he is a freak athlete he won't have the flexibility needed to get low and gain leverage. Just get him leaning one way and then tip him over. More of a curiosity than a high level prospect at this point.

razorbackfanatic

We should have a basketball player or two be a walk on football player as well just to come in behind two big guys pushing like Sprinkle does behind Wise and Skipper. Could u imagine a 7'0" Steven Hill trying to block from where Sprinkle lines up lol? 6'10" Kingsley or 6'7" Adrio Bailey would be great options lol!

You are right. I saw a tape of him and guys half his size pushed him around.

It's hard for anyone to get leverage against a 3' 6" 200 pounder.

Personally I could give a rat's rear whether or not we ever regain the title of the "largest OL in football". While it might be great for conversation, in the end it matters little if the players can't get the job done. Not saying the kids won't become a cohesive and effective unit before the end of the season. I'm beating they can. However, in the end it's about getting the best talent to play the line, no matter height or weight. It's about being able to keep AA on his feet and from getting hurt. It's about being able to open holes for our backs to make yardage and our WRs time to catch passes.
