I was in shock at how well this kid played.  He was vocal on the floor, looked comfortable in the offense, ran a fast break, attacked the rim, grabbed rebounds.  This is what we were missing yesterday, when Portis went out we brought in a smaller guy and it really hurt us.  Today Kingsley played like a MAN.  I'm so excited about this front court.  And thank you coach A for finally putting Harris in the starting lineup.  I'm making an early prediction and saying we'll have the best front court in the SEC next year.

Makes you wonder why he didn't play yesterday.

He did great.  I thought he was supposed to be a defensive guy?  Looked pretty comfortable with the ball to me.

I heard he did not get to play yesterday?  I was able to watch today but not yesterday.  I've seen the kid play in 2 games so far and it is a coaching error if he is not playing in every game.  Disclaimer: I am not and do not mike!  Kingsley has to play though, he is too good.

Have been saying he needs to and will play.  Is he polished offensively?  No but he brings a lot of hustle, size and rim-protection.  Also, allows Portis to be a 4, Harris to be whatever and allows Qualls to get rebounds cause the opposing team's big men are being occupied by Portis and Kingsley.  Saw a lot to be excited about IF Coach allows this kid to play more minutes.

He played well, I agree.  BUT...

His mistakes were being masked by other players making some pretty amazing rotations on defense and Minn just flat not taking advantage of him being out of position.

He has unlimited potential, but I wouldn't expect that out of him every game.  Other team are going to scout him, see his mistakes, and take advantage until he fully learns the defense.

You'll see him play more in face up situations, against teams like Minn than you will against teams that try to play back to the basket.

He's a deer in the open court, and if he develops his shot, he can be a monster stretch 4 as a pro.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

If he could be anything close to what is was today, he'll make us a much better team... shout out to Gulley as well, he could be invaluable at the guard position.

Williams and Madden are both looking like they are going to help this year as well...

all 4 could go a long way in our getting us over the hump.

Really excited to see this team grow.

Well, I see the reasoning of him just now really getting in the rotation.  The first couple of games he played, he did ok, but JaCorey clearly out played him and beat him out for the spot.  Now, I will admit once we started getting killed on the boards in yesterday's game CMA should have put him in. But, nothing up to this point has lead us to believe he could produce in a game like he did today.  I'm glad the staff decided to give him an opportunity, now we know he can come in and really contribute.

Hawg Red

Looked like a completely different player.

If that guy shows up every game, we have a game-changer on our hands.

I think after today, he's sealed a spot in the rotation.  You could tell the way he was playing wasn't a fluke, he can really play.  Looks like he just needs a few weeks to get adjusted to the college game, because honestly in the first couple of games he played, he did ok, but nothing that made you think he was going to be a major contributor right away.

MA's very inconsistent that way. Scott didn't play today either I believe. He'll probably start next game.

But Kingsley did look relaxed today. Best game for him so far. Hope he can build on it.

Agreed.  The college game gets surprisingly easier if you have big men who can keep the opposing team's big men occupied on both ends.

He should have played yesterday. Blu, you pretty much covered it all.... but he also made a back door cut pass that was pretty.
