Anyone investing in Gold? Or Gold Futures? It's going through the roof! I talked to a guy the other day that thinks this is only the begining and that it this is the new "Normal Low."

Was he selling gold, by chance?

If I'm not mistaken, gold gets you roughly the return of inflation on a long-term basis. But I'm not a short-term investor.

He wasn't talking about making money on the long-term basis but looking at market trends and cyclical trends that lead to short-term gains.
