Okay, running XP and my machine is running slow along with other issues!  I have AVG antivirus and I have my popup blocker on.  However, when I pull up explorer, I still get a popup and it is talking ("Make $5k/month on Google") before that page pulls up.  I have done the usual clearing out of crap and I still have issues.  Anyone have some ideas on how to fix these issues?

Download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org.  Also, try using Firefox instead of IE.  I have begun using Advanced SystemCare on a couple of machines and have been pleased with it.  http://www.iobit.com/ to download it.
