This could get real ugly. We all know HDN will do anything for self interest.

Gotta say, would be sweet watching him reveal information that could bury Ole Miss even more.
If there's one thing any of you should know as hog fans, brace yourself for disappointment and never get your hopes up.

Is that why national sportswriters are posting Twitter threads about it?

I beg to differ. It's SEC related so lots of folks will be watching the chain reaction crash that's coming to both sides. I suspect discovery and depositions are pop corn worthy.
Have you ever listened to someone  or read what they put into thoughts and wondered...."who ties your shoelaces for you?"

Like the ncaa is going to do anything, and so what if HDN and old misses knee cap each other.

What time does Freeze take the podium? That could be fun to watch.

Come to think of it, haven't seen JRabb outside of the Tavern much recently...a case like this would make any man need a drink or 12.

MB Hog

Makes sense.  Recruiting at OM before and after Nutt was strong... only slowed down during his watch.  That's some evidence (speculative) that the illegal stuff was happening more before and after the HDN years than they were during.

As far as I remember, HDN's recruiting reputation was always clean at Arkansas, Boise, and Murray.  Closest "scandal" was a few players getting paid for more work than they actually did in a summer job for a booster in Texas, but that was never linked to Houston and the booster was blackballed from the program.

I hope it ends far worse for Ole Miss than it does Hooty because Hooty can't do anything to hurt the U of A any more but Ole Miss is a yearly SEC West opponent.

IANAL, but would you sue Ole Miss in a Mississippi court?

The entire supreme court are Ole Miss alums and you may not be able to find 5 judges in the entire state that aren't.

Is the university itself named as a defendant? If so I would assume that similarly to Arkansas it enjoys sovereign immunity from suit in its own courts as a state entity.

This is a civil matter in the Federal Court system so not sure what standing the NCAA has in it until such time they are witnesses. Unlike yourself I will derive a degree of interest and pleasure as this plays out since I have a disdain for both sides.

so that's the reason he doesn't have a job, who knew?

Self-inflicted wound by Ole Miss. Didn't have to happen. There is a limit to what you can say, allege or contribute to a former HC after you have fired him and settled with him. Write HDN the check and get down the road. BIG mistake and now, it just makes Ole Miss look even worse. I love it but what a bunch of D.A.'s.
