I was in the back of the endzone, directly under the goal post in 1988 at the Auburn LSU game. Some of you may know it as the earth quake bowl.
I was about 10 feet from the receiver when he caught the 4th and goal pass to tie Auburn with seconds left in the game. The noise was so loud from the crowd that it made my eardrums quiver, and it registered on the seismograph in the geology building.
