With Charlie Strong  5 and 7 but with wins over OU and a injury riddled Baylor.

They see if chip Kelly comes available.  If he does fire Charlie.

Strong won't be fired after just two seasons. The potential backlash would be enormous on multiple levels.

What does it say that Sonny Cumbie turned down a million dollars and the opportunity to be Texas' offensive coordinator?
1. He really likes working with Doug Meacham, who calls the plays for TCU.
2. He really likes working with Kenny Hill, odds-on favorite to replace Trevone Boykin.
3. He really likes working.
Answer: Probably all of the above, with a heavy emphasis on the third possibility.
If Charlie Strong doesn't have a better season in 2016 -- and that probably means at least eight wins -- then Texas is in the market for more than an offensive coordinator.

Texas no longer has the edge it once did. It may be awhile before they are on top in the big 12 again.

Nothing.  They sit and eat another year of Charlie's contract.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

He's still building.  Needs to be bowl bound next year or he's canned.
