We have an opportunity next week to plant a foot in the ground... step up and out bama, bama, in their yard and just maybe, all the hype and hope could come together... GHGs :razorback:

BadHog

Did you watch Bama's game today????

Don't see it happening.

Brett is building is to match up with Bama. Not sure we are there yet, and Bama looked like a wreaking ball covered in buzz saws today, but hey, you never know!

They did look awesome.

But so did Ole Miss a few weeks ago. And LSU the week before that.

It's a roller coaster ride this year.

We still haven't scored in the 4th quarter. Let that sink in...

Thanks for the WINS Coach Petrino!

Alex looks like he is running on a club foot although running good on a club foot!! Not sure we can do it with one and a half running backs. Very proud of these guys tonight!!
Just sitting on the deck with a cold beer and a hot tequila watching the razorbacks roam.

How about we let it sink in on Monday?

Let's just enjoy an SEC road win.

Coming from behind. In the rain. With half our team in the freaking hospital.

Poker_hog

It'll be hard but you gotta figure we're not on their radar.  We have the talent to hang with them especially if they overlook us.

I still have no confidence in cbb's game management
Sometimes wrong, but never in doubt

Ok, I agree.

If you can't allow a bit of optimism after a big road win then you need to log off HV for a few days. Bring the acidity back mid-week when it is time to turn the page as fans.

Many of the same fans beefing right now were predicting we weren't going to win way back in the spring or summer...when the prognostications were a lot more upwardly mobile than they've been in a few weeks.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. Boom.

Boom.

Pow.

Let's enjoy a win for a change.  Our chances of beating Alabama are not good, so let's just appreciate we didn't lose again tonite.

pigroots

Bama is great this year. 5 turnovers and OM still needed a couple lucky breaks to win. Hogs are competitive and deserve better than we've got this year(should have beaten Toledo and A&M) but I can see no scenario that we beat Bama this year.

Ok there Jonesy!!

It would have been very easy for a 1-3 team to pack it in after quickly getting down 14-0. I'm very proud of how they responded to that adversity.

That would have not happened two years ago....not at all.  Our coaches made some goofy calls, but our kids played their ass off.  All hats off to them.

We let you goons vent for nearly a whole week after losses, let us enjoy the rest of Saturday night after a road win

thanks!!!

Signed, every Hog fan that doesnt want to give up

Losing gracefully isn't taught in second-tier programs. See Arkansas, Cincinnati, et al.

Yes, sir.  This is the moment you appreciate the win.  Appreciate and celebrate the fight from our players.  The young men who fight for our entertainment and pride.  Regardless of your opinion about the coach, athletic director, president of the united states blah blah blah.... THIS is the moment that we ALL should celebrate that OUR Razorbacks won.  If someone who claims to be a fan is unhappy right now -  I don't know what to say.  Critique Sunday and Monday-  get ready for Bama!

Did you see Ole Miss Handle Bama? Did you see Florida handle Ole Miss? Did you see Tennessee play Florida. All I am saying is that the outcome is not determined until the game ends. Anything can happen in the SEC.

Let the Hogs play the game, they've got a chance. You never know!

Toledo will be ranked next week.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

We have to throw effectively to have any chance against Bama.

Good news is we've been doing that.

Swine-as-wine

Welp.....we've lost to a Toledo team that's still undefeated, and beat some other teams that we'd possibly have trouble with.....
a Texas Tech team, that  got blown out of the saddle today by a Baylor team that the voters refuse to put over a TCU
team that Tech should have beat, and an A&M team, that has the inside track to the SEC Western Division title. Of course I'm
not near the prognosticator that those blubbering idiots are on ESPN, that put Auburn in the college football Playoffs, most likely
playing a Tennessee team in the SEC Championship just before......but...... seems to me, that our strength of schedule, has turned
out to be one whole helluva lot stronger than the high ranking it was given before the season started. Tech is going to be a wrecking
ball in the Big 12, most likely putting a damper on several team's hopes, who'd marked the Red Raiders down as a sure win. A&M most
likely will do the usual A&M type of thing, and blow their shot at an SEC title, but the team I'm keeping an eye on the most of those
we've lost to, is Toledo. Most likely, their "money games" are done for the year, but at this point, I'd say that have a very good chance
of playing on New Years day.

What's all this got to do with this Tennessee game, or next weeks Bama game being a "defining moment"? Not a damn thing. The same as
neither of those are or will be. If we were undefeated and took down the Tide.....that would be......but other than putting the joy of living
back into the entire state, and sending those at Hogville into a frenzy of what if threads......it won't be defining.
