I wasn't necessarily against the hire solely on record. Yes, his record is questionable as well as his results this year. He could've easily lost to 3 bad teams.

My problem was how. They played the waiting game on the coach who I won't name, when it was obvious he wasn't leaving after the iron bowl win. Then they supposedly offered him $7M per year and never made an attempt at any bigger names.

He'll likely win a bunch of games, and I hope he does. And I'll be there for as many as work allows, starting in April.

From someone on the inside, they made a few phone calls. A couple assistants and a couple G5 coaches.
