Maybe he's an "exception".  You know, like everyone of our 3* recruits over the past many years with a similar type offer sheet...they're exceptions too, of course.  Special diamonds in the rough with only our coaching staff, past or present, having the talent to recognize.  And what's our SEC record since joining the conference?  Something like 89-109-2 maybe? 

Generally speaking, the offer sheet is easily the best predictor IMO.  It's the rule, not the exception.  One should never apologize for arguing the rule over the exception.  We've seen the other movie far too many times.  It doesn't end well.
