The players thought gus was the coach with 2-3 weeks to play.  A few here verified my comments on this as well.  That being said we all saw how that turned out

He's still on the list. Mike Irwin said yesterday on the Pig Trail that it was likely between Norvell and Morris. He also said he believed Norvell had a slight edge over Morris for the job.
