Nice stats from the first game too. Where was that in college?

I think it's just one game.

Still...I don't think Dontell ever made over 10 points in a game at Arkansas.

18 PPG?!?!?!
He put up those type of numbers last year too...couldnt believe it.

At Arkansas, he brought the ball up the court and always, I repeat ALWAYS, picked up his dribble at the top of the key, fake pass left, then passes right.

Dontell actually had some great baseline dunks and slams of alleyoops.

I think he just needed a different coach. One who could develope talent.

Impressive - I'd like to see him do well.  He never seemed to really find his rhythm at UA.

Not going to touch the development part since the poster who stated that doesn't know anything about how, what, or why players develop.

Dontell's problem was the same as any other player and that is confidence. He simply didn't have it at Arkansas as anyone who watched him play clearly saw.

I ripped the guy as hard as anyone but I still appreciated the way he played in the big win Arkansas had over Kansas and him helping Arkansas break the Ole Miss curse.

I hope he can get on with a NBA team soon.

BTW he was a damn good defender and especially at the top of a zone defense with his length.
