Yeah A Big Body would defenitely help if not for nothing else for defense when we go against teams with 250 pound plus centers who will try to slow it down and get our bigs in foul trouble and take advantage of our bench.

I got your Back. BTW anyone know when he's coming back? due to him being the best passer on the team he would have seen some quality minutes in PR.

Baseball Hog

a lot of question marks but also a lot of potential.  We need to grow mentally, i think the talent is there.

The_Iceman

that starting lineup combined with the backups has alot of potential. remember that we are talking about pelphrey finally putting his players with his style of play. I see us doing very well, especially with a true PG now.

Razor6

I was there when we melted the internet!  Were you?

slopinhogs

i'm slobering at the mouth over it guys. can't wait.hardly :razorback:
win lose or tie i'll call the hogs till i die

mbgrulz

i really think we would be fine if we didn't add another man to this roster.

we will be really good if we can get a dominant big man, a little more perimeter size, and maybe one standout 5* type of player.

the 5* player may have to come in 2010 since those top 25 guys have had coaches breathing down their necks since they were 14 years old. pel will need time to build a relationship with one of those guys.

We need Daniel Orton or Derrick Favors a year earlier than we can get them.

Orton is 6'9", 275lbs, 5* and five fouls to give every night.

When looking at his video, the kid doesn't look like he's 275lbs.

I used to argue with HA about how Pel ran the basketball team.  I've since learned to like and respect him.  In fact, I'd go as far to say that HA is well connected or extremely perceptive. - Porkatarian, 11/7/12

Breems

Looks like the perfect lineup for uptempo ball, especially the men in the middle.

Great rundown.

IMO, one or more of our recruits could move up on the recruiting lists.
Moore and Clark are both looking good - Moore, especially, could wind up a four star.

The Coletrain

That's definitely a talented roster!!  Pel and his staff have done a tremendous job out of the gate.

My only concern is depth in the post.  Obviously it'd be nice to have a true five who could rebound, defend the paint, and occasionally score with his back to the basket.  We should still be fine without that addition for a year, but we will be susceptible to injury and foul trouble in the middle.  But that's not a knock on the job this staff has done.  Just a reflection of what needs there were with the hand that was dealt.
Razorbacks, Cardinals, and Cowboys!!  A 30+ year addiction.
