Why does NW Arkansas not promote 412 as Americas Breakfast Trail? Missed opportunity...

Starting at I-49 you got Denny's, Waffle House, Susan's, Sunset Grill, Mama Z's, Flapjacks, TnT, Hilltop, etc heading out towards Huntsville....probably 4-5 I am forgetting out towards Ok - not to mention the Casino in Siloam (but it's IN Oklahoma so I didn't count it)

Talk about a sleeping giant...People would come from all over if they knew the quality of breakfast in our area.

How you gonna win when you ain't right within?

Here I am again mixing misery and gin....

rtr

Actually any number of the places you mention make great breakfast, makes me hungry.
The more smites the more intelligent I get.

Denny's is a franchise, you can get this trashy breakfast anywhere.
Waffle House is a franchise, breakfast as trashy as most of the patrons there.
Sunset is worthy of your list.
Lucy's is excellent and worthy of your list.
FlapJacks is nothing but a cafeteria assembly line of subpar breakfast items.

After Lucy's, hang a left on 71B and then hit-

Neal's Cafe
Wagon Wheel Cafe
Dairy Queen in Lowell (franchise, but best value on this list)
Getting a Nibble Cafe

Then onto downtown Rogers and hit-

Wesners

That's just your opinion - breakfast appeals to all from white trash to White House (wait....) - some people like Denny's and WaffHou - I'm not judging...like you.

Don't come in pushin a 71B agenda- I'm not a huge fan   ;)- 412 has the Beauty of Beaver Lake when heading to Sonora...not the beauty of South Rogers. I'd like my sausage and biscuit while cruising over the 412 bridge on the beautiful White River.

Lucys is not anywhere close to 412 ya idiot. It's only about 17 miles from Springdale and 412. It's is one block off of 71B, but on your 412 list.

Arkansas Football: It's the players running through the A, Hog Hats, and Big Red. It's more than 70,000 fans calling, "WOO PIG SOOIE!"

Arkansas Football: It's the State of Arkansas banding together behind one team, and a mascot like no other. Those select few who put on the jersey are... chosen. They wear the colors, they pay the price, and they succeed. They are exceptional, they are Razorbacks.

Together we stand as tall as the towers of Old Main. Our memories are etched in stone like names on Senior Walk. And our blood flows Razorbacks Red. For 100 years we've been Hogwild and today we continue the tradition.

We are Arkansas Razorbacks!

Plus Cracker Barrel on the west side of I-49 and Mama Z's in Tontitown.

I have eaten breakfast once at a Cracker Barrel, at West Memphis, AR.  It was good breakfast food.

Cracker Barrel is one of the better places to get a good meal.  I have eaten at the following 13 Cracker Barrels.

Springdale, AR
Bentonville, AR
Alma, AR
Russellville, AR
Conway, AR
Little Rock, AR
Jonesboro, AR
West Memphis, AR
Memphis, TN
Branson, MO
Tulsa, OK
Shawnee, OK
Arlington, TX

The best one I have eaten at was the one in Branson, MO.  The 2nd best one was Springdale, AR (have eaten there a lot and it is always good).  The worst one has been Alma, AR.

The one in Conway has always been good (I have eaten at that one at least 3 times, maybe 4 times).  It has been the 3rd best one after Branson and Springdale.

Used to get the $2 biscuits and gray at Pete's Place in the Fayetteville Bowling Alley at about 3:00 in the morning in the early 90's. The plate was LOADED... in more ways than one.

Now that was good food and good times.

They added some wait staff last time I was there and it was better. Susan's is still the best.

Yep.  I am serious.

I am an in-home salesman (one-call close sales, which requires a complete mastery of the entire sales process).  Many of the Cracker Barrels have eaten at has been during travels for work.

In an effort to keep it local, I think it would be better to begin on Hwy 59, in Siloam and head north through Gravite.  Some great, local, breakfast spots!!

Not a food snob, I just don't get excited at going to chain restaurants that have the same crap whether you are in NW Arkansas or Chicago or Los Angeles. When your relatives come to town, do you say "you have got to eat at our Waffle House, it has so many more items like omelets that you cannot get anywhere else?"

Take yur ass out of here. Neal's is more America than that fart hole Waffle House. Guns on the wall, dead animal heads, trophy fish, gun racks, arrowheads, fire place. Besides that Malzahns place where he hangs out.

Farmer's Table south of downtown Fville any good? It is intriguing but I've not spoken with anyone who has eaten there.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. I've only been there on a football game weekend's, always crowded. It's been good, but after waiting 45 minutes, I'm pissed and hungry, so it's hard for me to give an accurate account.

Awesome list of great places.  Would add Briar Rose near Farmington for the cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy.   Man, I'm hungry.   Can't wait for next trip to the hill for a game.

My favorite place to eat Breakfast in NWA was at a place in Eureka Springs called Razorback Smokehouse. They had HUGE Jethro Bodine sized biscuits. Unfortunately they went out of business a few years back. Sad.

Farmer's table is good if you like that kind of deal (ie farm to table).  One mistake that they do make is they make there own ketchup.  Its horrible.  You can't do better than Heinz.  Thats perfection.
