I just get nervous when I see new kids show up in a ride like BK Racing.  I know getting on track as fast as possible is important, but I hope they don't flame out due to poor coaching and subpar equipment.

Would have thought he could wait on a better ride. Get more experience can't see hte benefits of experience in crappy cars.

Ward raced a lot of junk subpar cars. I think Jeff did too. Ward did do pretty well in a Bill Davis mopar if memory serves me well.

It was different 25  years ago. Most everyone started in subpar cars as there were only 10that could win each week.  Now if you got talent you may spend 2 years in Busch and then get a top ride.  Jeff spent 2 years with Stavola Brothers before going to Roush.
