I noticed something odd at the Alabama game, I wonder if it happens at all of the games and why.  Basically anytime there was a time out or long break in play when we were on offense our line was standing at the line of scrimmage while all the other offensive players were huddled up by coaches.  There would be a huge huddle of offensive personnel over by the sideline, presumably going over the next play or discussing some sort of strategy.  This huddle seemed to include the entire Offense including backups and players not in the game. Meanwhile the 5 O linemen and a water boy were out on the field not participating in anything going on on the sidelines at all.   Seems bizarre.  Any one have anything on this?

Don't think it means anything...

Not surprising. Only 4 out of the 5 lineman seem to participate during the game.

It's a long way over to the sideline and back.  Gotta save that energy so you can pick yosef up after you get knocked on your can time and time again.

Some teams do this.  I don't like it though.  Everybody in or nobody at all.
