Mike is getting all he can out of this team. This best thing that happened to the hogs was going on the road. Moses was Moses Kingsley tonight and Dusty was amazing. The hogs fifth road win you saw a team that played together tonight. Believe me Mike will turn this program into a winning program. Big Wwin!!

3of5-2

No, no he won't. But enjoy the short lived excitement.

Rbill

I believe now. Our biggest issue was not knowing who we were, how we were supposed to play together, who was our leader. We would look completely lost on offense sometimes because we had no identity or direction.
Tonight we really seemed to figure out our personnel and pecking order and plan. If we build on those lessons we can succeed.

Huge win. Absolutely huge win -- and a fun game.

But my opinion of a coach is never based on one game.

My opinion of Mike Anderson does not change from this win. I am pumped about the hogs win though! Have to keep it going now

The real test is if we appear to try to replicate what worked next time or if we learn nothing.

RazorPiggie

No, this team is still coached by Anderson who I have zero faith in. Good win tonight.

You're spewing hatred everywhere in every posts.  Step away from hogville and go look at the score again. We won!

Go with Barford as primary point gaurd from hear on  out. Continue to use that match up zone. It is working. This team does not recover well to shooters when we trap.

hulk hog

Can you not understand the frustration of fans toward Mike?  You win this game on the road but get blasted at home by Vandy lose at Missouri.  It's like like with Houston Nutt all over again.

With that said have to be proud of the team tonight.  When Moses and Barford show up with Hannahs we can be a tough team to beat.

I only watched the second half as I was away from home but that was the first thing I noticed and I liked it! He has high energy and he is perfecting that fallback jumper.

I believe we won a big game that solidified our position in the NCAA Tournament field, IF we don't squander it in the next two weeks.

I can't help but worry about him, though.  That back court violation...

Hollywood_HOGan45

No I'm not buying in.
Loved this shocking win but we need consistency.  We screwed up two wins against uk in 13-14.

I believe what I believed a month ago, I think we should make a change regardless

but if he gets into the tournament, I can live with him having another year

and they took a big step to getting in tonight.

rude1

Still lots of ball to be played, have to start being consistent, does no good to have the exceptional effort tonight only to turn around drop more games to teams you should beat. Hopefully this is the game that gets on the roll into the big dance.

He got the most out of them this game. But he didn't on severable inexcusable occasions this season (MSST, @MO, and VANDY). I do believe that if Mike can get this out of his teams every game that he will turn this program into a winner.

I believe we play poor man to man defense and need to stay with various zones as our base.

Karma

Very big win, and great response to getting down early. Huge step towards getting a bid.

Hawg Red

This is a MASSIVE win for our resume but we have to follow it up with a win against Ole Miss Saturday or everyone will be right back where they were before this game. Consistency and handling business. Now would be a good time to start handling business.

Cautiously optimistic. There's more games to be played. Great win tonight.

Yeah, because the fiscal year end is fast approaching!  Gotta close these games out!  One at a time!   :razorback:

This game was fun but really needs to be backed up next time out.

Not hatred, rather strong word I would say. Until MA can win consistently the games he is supposed to win, and get a few like tonight, I won't give him a pass like a lot of you here do.

Seriously? There are some of you who just can't enjoy the moment after YOUR team pulls off a big win.

Yes the Hogs have to finish. This team can't be beat when Moses and Dusty play well. They are the key.

Yes seriously, and as I said, he won A game he wasn't supposed to win. However, one win is not enough.

shown006

The way to get the fans to believe is to be consistent.  Great win tonight!  But, you can't follow that up and lose any of these last 3 home games.  Hogs can make the NCAA now, but can't lose at home, and can't go one and done in the SEC tournament like they have the last 4 out of 5 years.

I get the feeling you wanted us to lose... ???. Am I correct in my assessment? Just cant let it go can ya? Yeah, I know it's hard, but you gotta let it go. Holding on to hate can take some serious years off your life. Smile... ;D

Why is it so hard to understand that every team loses games they are supposed to win and every team wins games they aren't supposed to win? It happens. If you've ever played sports before you would know this. I have all my life.

It's more how you said it. Predicting that this will be "short lived" just minutes after the biggest win of the season and acting like there's zero hope of any sustained success may not be trolling, but it's darn close.

Never stopped.   This team is what it is, warts and all.     Unfortunately, most of our fan just like to look at the warts.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

By most metrics, we were already on the right side of the bubble before tonight.  Just how much insurance this may turn out to be, is yet to be seen.

+1, even though I'm a Mike fan I don't get too high after a win but at the same time I don't get too low after a loss. Although I am happy after a win and unhappy after a loss. I'm like this with every sport though, not just basketball...lol

I like that CMA reduced his rotation to about 8 players for the majority of this game. He didn't waste any minutes getting some players playing time. Everyone that played played hard. Probably CMA best coached game since he has been at Arkansas. Moses,Dusty, Macon & Barford need to play 30 plus minutes if possible. We played at a good flow tonight at a very hard place to win on the road.
I love off season Football!!
