A Digestif

If a digestif is supposed to aid your digestion and ease your stomach, then maybe this juncture in the season can be just that for the remainder of the year. Because of this season's expectations and beginnings, yesterday's second SEC loss marks the beginning of the end of the 2015 campaign. In an odd twist, Ole Miss fans today probably care as little about the outcomes of the final games against LSU and Mississippi State as they have in any winning season in Rebel football history. That's just how sobering a loss like yesterday's can be.

Wow, that's kinda sad.

Yeah, I know.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

From reading that article (or whatever you call that), sounds like everyone is moving on to basketball season.

-OM defense is more hype than anything.

-Kelly was outstanding.  Multiple big time throws and constantly turned big sack into huge scramble.

Can someone remind them that they are OleMiss? They have had one 10 win season in the last 46 seasons, they have never been to Atlanta, and their permenent East division rival is Vandy. Dhut up and be happy in Oxford, this is as good as it can get there.

It truly is all about perspective... They can still come away with a great season but their expectations were so high that most can't appreciate it.

A lot of folks had very high expectations for this year and after losing to Toledo and Tech we dealt with a great fan depression. People readjusted their expectations and folks were thrilled to come I to the Ole Miss game still in the hunt for a bowl.

After the Ole Miss game we will probably have fans that will be irate if we don't "win out or AT LEAST win 2 of the next 3."
If Auburn is dirty so is Gus. You can't have it both ways. Deal with it.
