Drew Morgan

I'm no NFL talent evaluator, but could Drew be that little slot receiver at the pro level?  I'm sitting here watching Beasley for the Cowboys and can't help but see the similarities.

I was thinking the same thing. I looked up Beasley's stats and Morgan's for comparison:

Looks like Drew's a little bigger but Cole's a little faster. Both have been compared to Wes Welker lol.

Ha, yeah, Welker is the one all others are compared.  Will be interesting to see how his career progresses.

The thing is, the receivers in the NFL that everyone wants to compare Morgan too were late draft picks that had to wait their turns then come proventhemselves.  He's shown the work ethic so he has good of a chance as any!

Agreed, only the elite of elite step right in at the WR position.

Morgan certainly is playing well.  I am happy to see him getting the recognition he deserves.

Too soon, the kids been getting reps for 3 years and Coach B has just now lit a hot enough fire under his a$$ to get him producing consistently.
