I can buy this.  I think our D is better than what we are given credit for in the pre-season publications.  I'm all for them taking this and having a huge chip on their shoulders for motivation sake.  The only issue I have with this list is that I would have put one of our RBs ahead of Derrick Henry.  He hasn't done much at Bama and I'm not sure they will use him like they did with guys like Richardson, Ingram, etc.  He had a ton of hype out of HS and I guess that's where this is coming from.

I agree. Hard to argue with anything but rb.

The thing that hurts our RB's in terms of lists like these is that writers tend to focus on RB's that are the focus of an offensive running attack and who, because they get more dedicated carries in a season, tend to have more individual yards. Now in game broadcasts you will hear all of the announcers ooh and aah over two RB's in a program having had over 1,000 yards rushing, but that ends up being more about the program and the scheme (the two-headed monster attack) than the fact that either one of the RB's might be the best in the SEC.

A two-headed attack can prolong the careers of the two, but they tend to be underestimated when it comes to picking All Star teams, especially in the pre-season. JMO
