Liput...1-2...single to right, run scores, 2 on, 2 outs

6-0 Florida

JHicks3636

Why was Willey so worried about runners with 2 outs in a 5 run game?

Losing gracefully isn't taught in second-tier programs. See Arkansas, Cincinnati, et al.

At this point I fully believe that Shaddy and Eagan need to trade spots on defense
Usually in EI where intelligent conversation is required

India...1-2...ground ball to SS, out at 2nd, safe at 1st, runners on the corners, 1 out

7000 for a team going nowhere ain't bad. Good job hog fans
I just got home from the game.....grandson gave out on me.....but I couldn't be prouder of the fans at the game today.  They stayed behind the team, gave the home umpire heck....(deservedly so) and supported Zach Jackson.

I think Shaddy needs to sit for a bit. DVH sits Bonfield and Gassaway when they have a bad game despite being .300+ hitters. Why not Shaddy? Everyone sees he is hitting .340+ and assume he is having a great year. He built that up v non-conference cupcakes.

Shaddy is, including today, 15/58 in SEC play. That is .258, and we aren't even talking about his errors.  If he fails to get a hit today, then I believe that will be his 6th 0 hit game in a SEC game this year. I love the kid's heart, and he has a ton of potential. However, just because he was hitting .500 entering SEC play and currently has a .340 average doesn't mean he needs to continue to hit in the 2nd or 3rd spot of the lineup and play all 3 games. He maintains his average because he gets multiple hits in mid-week games against teams like ULM, Grambling St, and Memphis.

With that said, he isn't the reason we are losing games. Just pointing out that he is struggling as much as anyone in SEC play. Even when we have big time offensive games against teams like Auburn, he was going 1/4 or 0/5 and strikes out a lot.

For me it is the errors. Yeah he isn't hitting very well but his throwing the ball away on defense is just gotten worse. I understand it is OTJ training for him but when we are struggling we need everything clicking right
