HBC was a one of a kind, but he didn't g to Iowa State and go 122-27-2 with 6 Conference Championships and a NC. He went to the Flagship University of the State that produces more NFL talent than any other. Easy to change a culture with their location and resources.

Before you bring up South Carolina, he was the best Coach in their freaking miserable football history, thanks to he and Lou, they are no longer sub 500 all time in wins. For all he did at Carolina, he never won the SEC and only won the SECE once in 11 years, for some perspective, Dale won the SECW 3 times and went to Atlanta twice in 10 seasons. I will take HBC over Dale any day of the week. Love the HBC though,
