...put up a buttload of points but not a lot of yards

...defense kept them ULL under 200 though

AJ Green's absence may cause the rest of that Georgia offense to mature.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Watched a little of their game.

The opposing D was horrible.  Easy pitch and catch on every completion for their young QB.  Proved nothing.

murray was staring down receivers, throwing behind guys.  maybe it was just nerves being his first game, he did have a few good throws and settled down some.  really thought their o-line was underwhelming...some people were calling their OL the best in college foosball this year, but they did not run the ball well.

Yeah, that 5 yards a carry was *terrible*.

Carlton Thomas looked good, Caleb King continues to unimpress.

SC is going to be a great test for UGA.

We need Georgia to win.  Then we beat Georgia and move up in the poll.
Why be crazy if you are not gonna be Razorback Bat S&#% crazy?

I thought UGA looked pretty solid. They are gonna be a tough team, no doubt about it.

well, considering that they had a couple of long runs that was more the rb breaking tackles than running through wide open holes and they had a lot of 1 and 2 yard runs, I'd say they were less than spectacular against a team they should have been dominating.

I'm getting ready to watch the replay

Considering how Georgia played on both sides of the ball, particularly the defense, and considering how Florida played, I'd much rather play Florida this year. Georgia looks like they've done a solid job of implementing the 3-4.

You have to stop the run against UGA.

Put the pressure on Aaron Murray to beat you, we also have to see how he reacts to be hit. I bet SC is going to try to put a pounding on him.

Arkiebrian

I saw UGA give up the big play - 60 yard TD in the first half.  No reason why we can't do this several times.  They also had a couple of illegal procedure calls in a row.  These things plagued them last year.

I thought their O-line looked good.  QB Murray hasn't settled into his role as an SEC QB yet either.  He showed he's a scrambler but ran when he should have gone out of bounds.  These behaviors will get him hurt in SEC play.

Other than the big play the 3-4 did look pretty solid.

South Carolina looked to be the better team.

Georgia is a shell of it's former self.  Remember when they had those HUGE DT's?  They just don't have those type players anymore outside of the big WR.

The word on AJ Green is that if he doesn't play this weekend he could be done for the year.

He may have lied to NCAA investigators about his involvement in agent-gate. Also some talk he had a friend sell the jersey he wore in the Independence Bowl on Ebay for cash.

Will be interesting to see if he's cleared for SC.

College football is rapidly degrading into college basketball.  I now hate college basketball.
