Try Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs.   New , nicest around rooms  $59.  Also, a new Hampton Inn in Siloam Springs....   30 mins to RRS

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

I use price line the week of the game and have never spent more than 80 bucks a night in springdale/rogers area

The Cherokee Casino in Siloam Springs has reasonable rates (if you can stay away from the games). It's a nice 30 minute drive into Fayetteville on Hwy 16.  From $69.00 during the week to $109.00 on the weekend. This was on-line pretending to make reservations for Bama week. If you include a couple of week days prior to the weekend, they average out the high/low making it somewhere between $77.00 and $89.00.

Homewood suites in Rogers is awesome and reasonable. When I have people visiting, that's where I put them up.  I've never paid over a hundred a night.

When I come up to Fayetteville I usually try to book from either dicksontreetcondo or the Hog Cottage.  got an email fromt he cottage owners and they want $2000 for the LSU weekend this year, so I'll be staying in the condo on Dickson.  Sleeps 2 more people and its more than half the price.

budcampbellfan

I'm not telling because I don't want all yall driving up the prices.

I'm pretty sure the $159 the OP is talking about is just for central Arkansas patrons.  If they know you're coming up for the game they'll price gouge ya.

This seems like a post that has a firm grasp on the obvious, but seriously...when you want accomodations at ground zero to anything, you're going to pay more.

This.  Same thing happens every weekend in almost every cfb or nfl city.

There are some nice campsites for around $10 which you'll save since you don't have to pay that extra $10 for the LR tickets.

I say stay at the casino.  Save $$ that you can use to win more $$

You should get a room in Little Rock.  I bet they are cheaper.

Now THAT's funny right there.....Nicely done, Shag.

My wife and I are Marriott point collectors.  For the past 5-6 years we've stayed at the Courtyards, Springhills, TownSuites, Fairfields and other Marriott-owned hotels in the Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville areas.  Haven't spent a dime on overnights.

It's nice to have a smart wife.

I know this is a joke, but I am seriously considering bringing my boat up one weekend and combining a camping/fishing trip with a Hog game.  Now if i can just get my wife to go for it.

With my luck we'll have an early season snowstorm and I'll be sleeping in a tent at home for the next two weeks...

Van Buren is a really good option. Relatively cheap rooms. 45 minutes away.

Has anyone checked out the 2012 season prices? The hotel in Springdale I was paying around $100 a night last year for is now at around $159 I think it is.... Everything seems to be higher.

It also requires the rate be prepaid -- and you can't cancel (or if you do you pay a 100% penalty, so there is no point.)

We'll go to all the games, but there is definitely some sticker shock this year.

They get much higher and i'm renting out bedrooms or the whole house all season.

Last little rock game I went to I camped out by the river, was really nice and could hang around a campfire and drink beer with other hog fans night before and after.

This is a solid hotel.  1 occasion the hotel had no hot water in the morning, but they comped the room because of it, so no complaints.

How can you guys read that board? It uses that old style format that makes it like chewing glass....painful.

Now I understand why they all come over to hogville. Their board is garbage.

I wish they had a board like hogville....would love to see the back and forth over there right now. I would love to pose the question....would CMA have lost that game with that team?

I have had a great time talking with the Rutgers fans ever since our 2 game series was announced a while back. They had a GREAT time in Fayetteville and NWA last year and are seemingly anxious for our fans to have a great time in Jersey. If you want to know more about the game and surrounding excursions, go to their board, it's free.

Most will tell you that the Razorback game experience is in their top 2 "away" game experiences. Yeah, I know they won. Even if they lost they were still blown away by the facilities, the fans, the experience, and the Ozarks. They are looking for a large group to come up to this years game. Of course they think they are going to win again, we KNOW better.

Anyway, they should give the details about where to go and where NOT to go in Jersey!

After a quick search, looks like the following are the most popular (not in order, just for that specific school.) Didn't list the other schools but I think the others use rivals as their main site.

Hogville
Texags
Tigerdroppings
Cockytalk
Missouri's (good lord, it's turrible)
Volnation
Dawgtalk

Any good ones I should try out?

I don't know much about everyone else's boards, but TexAgs and Tigerdroppings are both pretty good.  I'm a member of those two and look around on 'em quite a bit during football season.  And you are dead on about Mizzou's board, it's unbelievably bad.

mj4president

Are you a member at both of those? How do they treat opposing fans?

TexAgs is pretty civil.  I don't flame on there much so they're quite respectful, believe it or not.  Tigerdroppings can be the same, but you do have alot of drunk idiots who can't put two sentences together.  But I will say they police their own fairly well.  If some goober starts in with the BS, there will usually be another come along behind him and apologize for his stupidity.

LZH

Oh, I forgot to say this about Tigerdroppings.  They can't remember ANYTHING before 2003.  For them, LSU has always been a top five program.....Nick Saban only happened to coach there once.

That is annoying.

Can't wait to play Auburn...we will wear their defense out. I think we win by 21+.

I get so tired of reading elsewhere that Razorbacks fans are crazy go read the Michigan and Ole Miss boards and tell me how crazy fans are.  College football is 2nd to none, let the fans enjoy the game and support their team.

BTW have I mentioned I am against pay websites......

Done with this coward.

No balls, NOT an offensive mind, coward...a freakin joke.

We just got beat by an American conference team that hasn't beaten a ranked opponent in years.

Their defense is garbage. I watched Cincy put up 60 on them with a BACKUP QB. You have a potential first rounder at QB with talent all over and you can't do the same against them?

Done with them all and you all should be too.

A bunch of bums and we deserve better like a Justin Fuente.
