Hudson is a former three-star guard and was the No. 5 overall player in Ohio for the Class of 2014.

He attended St. Vincent-St. Mary, the alma mater of NBA star LeBron James.

Florida redshirt senior forward Alex Murphy won't be back with the Gators next season

Murphy is still applying for a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA and will either transfer to another school or play professionally overseas in Finland if the sixth year isn't granted.

Alex Murphy transferred to Florida from Duke. His brother is ex-Gator Erik Murphy. His father Jay was selected after Sam Bowie in the 1984 NBA draft.
