It's about daggum time.

He revolutionized the safety position and never really got the votes because he didn't have enough interceptions. Garbage.

He should have been inducted a decade ago.

Old school size safety with safety speed.
Want to scare a WR coming across the middle?  Say hello to 220lbs.

Nowadays, safety isn't a cross between linebacker and corner.
They're basically just another corner.

The dilution of talent through expansion and free agency (and NFL greed to change rules to favor offense to try to capture the casual fan) caused this as much as anything.  It's harder to beat a better team 11 on 11, so take the OL and RB out of the equation and play catch 5 vs 5.

Atwater should be the third Razorback in the HOF.  Jason Peters should be the fourth.

Same here.  He holds on we pay Miami back for the embarrassing loss the year before.
