If you think the hogs have 2 of the top 6 players, do you think MA is awful? Are you just looking at offensive numbers???

Why bring this up and derail another thread with this nonsense? He's asking about the best players in the SEC.

College players? NBA potential? Complete game or just offense?

An extremely select group - Top 10 in all 4 criteria above. :o

Walker and Poythress are projected to be in the draft simply because people don't expect them to stay in school -- not because they are better than, say, Michael Qualls or even someone like Stefan Moody.

Hawg Red

Bobby Portis
Michael Qualls
Cinmeon Bowers
Willie Cauley-Stein
Karl-Anthony Towns
Jordan Mickey
Jarrell Martin
Stefan Moody
Josh Richardson
Damian Jones

There's my 10. Obviously there was some close calls. Hard to include some Kentucky guys due to their depth.

Biggus Piggus

Hard for me to tell whether it would be better to have Cauley-Stein, Towns or Dakari Johnson. They all have talent.

The best scorer Kentucky has is Devin Booker. He would start anywhere else.

Definitely on my SEC-best list, excluding UK:

Portis
Qualls
Josh Richardson, Tenn
Dorian Finney-Smith, Fla
Jordan Mickey, LSU
Danuel House, TAM
Levi Randolph, Alabama
Rodney Cooper, Alabama
Stefan Moody, Ole Miss
Damian Jones, Vanderbilt

Bowers is a monster rebounder but poor shooter. The freshman Riley LaChance at Vandy is a terrific scorer and ballhandler. Just needs some D.

Kentucky.   Blue Platoon/White Platoon.  :)
I would rather live as if there is a God and find out there isn't, than to live as if there isn't and find out there is.

The mock draft expects everyone to come out because it's about where they would be picked out of all players including international. I think Portis and Qualls are both very good but they would be on the bench a lot at Kentucky due to defense.
