If after AU game their minds are basically made up, they should go ahead and do it then.  It gives DE a 5 game sample to make a case.  I would say he needs to go 4-1 to make a compelling argument for a shot at the job, and even then I'm not saying he would be the right guy.

More importantly if after the AU game minds are made up then they need to go ahead and do it and not risk some last gasp that gives the HC a fighting chance to keep his job.  This is what happened at LSU.  Les finished decent and they all held hangs around the campfire.  Then first few games of the next season he lays eggs and he's gone.  Why set yourself back like that.

Finebaum had been fairly positive about Bert and even predicted Hogs would beat SC on Saturday.

Yah, Finebaum had CBB on his show prior to USCe and was very supportive of Hogs. Now he's going all in creating a firestorm (national media wise) because when Finebaum picks your team to win and they get embarrassed on a national stage plus heading into Tuscaloosa week, Finebaum will call that team a dumpster fire!!! Remember when Gus was struggling?!?! Finebaum thought he was going to be fired...Out of all those typing I can honestly say Pawwwl was not off base with one...sucks but truth hurts.
