What's the saying? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

How many times, and not just tonight have teams had three point shots with nobody within 10 to 15 feet of them.

It's Mike's job to fix that! Can you stop all of them? No! But it happens way too much!

It will always be a product of the style of basketball we choose to play.   Watch the old Nolan teams.   They gave up tons and tons of uncontested threes.

You'd think after 30 years of mostly this style of basketball, our fans would recognize that there will always be open 3s to be had.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

please don't talk poorly of my children. My daughter's actually doing pretty well at University of Arkansas

Good deal. Don't talk poorly about other people's children.  Some friendly advice if you are so inclined.

Yeah, but when you can match them from the other end it makes it all better

Lost to an Elite 8 team no shame in that.
Bigger, faster and stronger

Beat UGA!

Yeah but we have "fans" calling Florida mediocre and the Hogs uncoached.  Want to be disappointed with the loss fine, but the open hate is disgusting.  Some had it bottled up for 5 games and were just waiting for the opportunity.  Real fans can get pissed at a loss but in the end support the team and the coach especially coming off a great winning streak to get back in the tourney.

I wish some would stop calling themselves fans.  Still lots of ball to play.  Support the team until the end.  They are a good team, first year together and have done some good things this year.  Are they perfect? No, Is MA perfect, No, but our team and coach are still better than 75% of the league.

I'm glad our coach, players and most of the fans have better outlooks, confidence, and lives than the few POS's that take any and every opportunity to run them down and piss and moan.  Go find another interest to distract you from your miserable lives.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

It can offset it.   You can't offset it when you shoot like garbage, though.

Their incorrect charge calls accounted for six points either given to Florida or taken away from us, with one more potential one if they got that Moses call correct.  That's seven out of thirteen due to mistakes and incompetence, just in the latter part of the game.   Six more doesn't seem that implausible, because they were pulling out all the stops in late first half too.

The double-standard in officiating leads to two things that cripple a team:  they become afraid to be aggressive on defense because it just leads to fouls.  Then they become timid on offense because the things they're getting called for on the other end are being ignored.

Have no clue why fans would call the Gators mediocre. They shoot the 3 extremely well and have a big inside. The play defense and can play the fastest40.

I think we played well enough on the road that if we win against GA, we are in.  We won't last long but we will be going.

We get away with not giving effort, always have with Mike, I don't understand why.  Not giving effort should not be a players option.

Letsroll1200

Early in the season a game like that the hogs lose by 20+ but I'm glad they continued to compete. I was done after the Moses foul call!! I thought Mike should have walked on the court and spend the rest of the night in the locker room.

Biggus Piggus

Just give me a win over Georgia and at least one win in the SECT. Then we're good.

No Beard, not much Macon, no help from Thomas, Thompson, or Cook, no Manny... More than 2 or 3 players need to show up to beat a Top 15 team at their place.

Oh well, it's done, move on. Beat UGA! GHG!

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

We got beat.  Pretty soundly.    Now, should the margin have been that big?  Probably not.     And Florida is *very* good.
Florida will go further in the Dance than Kentucky in my opinion.
They are long and athletic and some are even sharpshooters.  If they had Lerch (Eboggie) not out for the season they might coulda  been in the talk for the championship.  Still may be depending on seeding and where they go.  I'd rather play Kentucky than those guys again.
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.

Bottom line: no one nationally cares. Beat UGA and go to Nashville.

Florida played very good defense tonight. AND yes the refs were terrible. The call against Moses even after they reviewed it was an absolute joke. This crew needs to sit a few games.

WOW, so if you're not a sunshine pumper you're a cockroach. News flash dummy, a FAN can root for the young men to win and still be critical of the coach.
