When you go to your own forum profile, in the signature space it says below it "Images in your signature must be no greater than 550x250 pixels"

So, that made me think that images are allowed. However, when I tried to put an image in, it gave me an error at the top of the screen that says:
"The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile:
The following BBC is not allowed within your signature: abbr, acronym, anchor, bdo, code, flash, ftp, glow, html, img, iurl, left, li, list, ltr, php, pre, rtl, shadow, table, td, tr, tt, white."

So either:

  • The text below the signature space is incorrect and images are not allowed.
  • There is a different way to put images in than using the regular img tag.

Any help is appreciated.

no images in signatures.

Cool. I figured as much.

Then the verbiage stating "Images in your signature must be no greater than 550x250 pixels" needs to be removed.
