This.  It was a bitter finish to the season, but we simply lost to a better team by 9 points.  They aren't even 9 points better than us.  We were uncharacteristically careless with the ball.  It happens when it's the entire team's first appearance on this stage.  Cut down on the turnovers and this game is a nailbiter that could've gone either way until the very end. 

I can't fathom any possible way this is another 7-year tourney drought, even if Portis and Qualls leave.

The 2007-08 season was such an underachievement, it's almost laughable. We had the chance to win the SECT against a bad team in Georgia, and we crapped the bed. This year's team had heart and fortitude and learned how to win games during the season.
