How does Jared Cornelius not get put on the Blietnikoff watch list?

He tore it up against Bama. Been a consistent producer when healthy. Rated highly by PFF signifying he isn't some system guy. Just lost the surrounding receivers that were getting attention in Morgan and Hatcher and is now the lone top dog in the group along with a returning top notch qb and a returning OL.

I am wondering why Agin isn't on a watch list also.

Do you have to be on a watch list preseason to win the award? Seems like there are too many players in the country...someone could come out of nowhere and have a heisman-type season

DeDe Westbrook won it last year and was not on the first watch list.

I can see him not being on a watch list yet. New DC, new defensive scheme, don't recall him officially starting last year though he did see significant playing time. Plus, it's not like our defense has been making anybody pay attention to it since 2014. This is the year that he will really have a coming out party where people outside of Arkansas will know his name.

Sosa started the final 5 games vs. Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, Mizzou, and Virginia Tech.

I agree that the defense didn't lend any help to Sosa getting recognition.  He has a ton of potential -

Bingo.  Watch lists mean nothing...
