wishing for a higher power to bless the souls of all the people you guys killed
Bless the souls of all who died defending the freedom of "idiots" like you to say whatever the hell they want on a message board. Dam, wish they had a minimum age/IQ requirement for Hogville.

My farther and I are both vets.

I served 20 years.  Enlisted in the 354th Chemical Company of the 122nd ARCOM in 1985 in Russellville.  In 1988 I transferred to the Arkansas National Guard and spent the remainder of my career in Camp Robinson in UH-1's, AH-1's, OH-58's, C-12's, and C26's.

My father enlisted in 1947 in the Guard as a freshman in college.  He got out of the guard when he graduated in in 51.  He found out through the grapevine that his draft number was up and he was going to be drafted for Korea.  So he enlisted for OCS in the Army after that he served in Korea and Japan as an a Combat a Engineer.  He was accepted for flight training in 54.
Ft Riley
ROK
Camp Shemelfinning Japan
Ft Wolters
Ft Rucker
Ft Benning 11th Air assault division then B/227 1st Cavalry for the deployment to SE Asia.
Ft Leonard Wood
Ft Sam Houston
Back to SE Asia
Retired out of the Pentagon January 1 1973.

I am very proud to have served.  But I can't explain how much my father's service means to me and the rest of his family.  He was buried in his Korean War era "Pinks and Greens" in February of 2013 in the free state of Yell.  After traveling the world, it was the only place he ever wanted to call home.
Wins are the only things that matter when the game ends.  The mistakes that happen in the game are corrected by good coaching during the week. A season of near losses means you won every game.

U.S. Navy, 1952-1974, Senior Chief Petty Officer (Retired)
Last ten years worked in Naval Intelligence.

Duty stations included:
Sandia Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico
NAS, Norfolk, Va.

NAS, Atsugi, Japan
Pentaton, Washington, D.C.

SAC Headquarters. Offutt AFB, Omaha, Neb.

Proud to have served and would do it all over again.  No regrets whatsoever.

Only negative was living in Omaha and having to put up with all those Nebraska fans. Also, those five years spent overseas had to rely on the Stars and Stripes to get results on Hog games (this was in the 60s and 70s, long before the internet and cell phones.
There are all kinds of Lions, Tigers and Bears in college football.  But there is only one Razorback.  Beware the Tusks!!! They are coming
