And, 200 something consecutive football games.

Nomura works the count full, and he lines one up the middle.  The Hogs have a hit and a run taken away from them as the SS makes a nice diving grab.  Smart base running by the vet Spoon saves the Hogs from a double play.

McAfee flies out to the RF.  Spoon holds at 2B.  Wind knocked that ball down big time.

Martinez    .100
Gann         .750
Raspino     .214

Martinez lines one that gets under the glove of McAfee.  It was a wicked hop and McAfee had almost no chance to make the play.  Scored a single.

Gann runs the count full, and he lines a single into LF.  Runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 outs.

Raspino lines the first pitch right to Wernes for a rare 5-4 DP.  Nomura threw the ball straight into the dirt or it would have been a close play at 1st.

Jackson can't get his slider over the plate consistently. They're just sitting on the fastball.

Surely we won't hit it right at them all night. Geez.

We need 3 more outta Jackson. Does he have it in him?

Collura    .300   K 1st at bat
DeGallier .368   K 1st at bat
Billingsley.295   Walk 1st at bat

JHicks3636

Jackson threw 17 pitches in the 2nd inning and has 41 for the game

ucahogfan

Collura runs the count full, and he draws a leadoff walk.  Very close on ball 4.

Knot2brite

I can see the game but is Jackson getting squeezed or is he just missing spots
Usually in EI where intelligent conversation is required

Collura caught stealing 2-4 on an absolutely perfect throw.

DeGallier runs the count full, and he grounds one up the middle just under the glove of McAfee into center for a single.  McAfee should have made the play, but it was ruled a single.

If Shaddy keeps this up and keeps hitting the way he has , he will end up starting more often.

ucahogfan

Billingsley walks.  Runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out.

RS Senior RHP Jackson Lowery is warming in the pen as Coach Jorn comes out to do a little coaching.
