Summer Ball (HS Players)

It appears that American Legion baseball isn't what it used to be.  I counted only 15 or 16 teams each in AAA and AA.  That's a shame.  I loved legion ball. (played early 2000's)

So how can i go about finding out where some of the better talent is playing?

I have read a little bit on the PBR (not bull riding), but a lot of that seems to be camps and tryout type stuff with  scrimmages after.

Any summer tournaments in the LR area?  Either legion, Babe Ruth, or whatever league kids play these days?

Lots of schools now play extended high school ball. Catholic usually has a tournament around the first of July which has both high school teams and Showcase teams, played at UALR and Lamar Porter.

Summer ball has evolved into showcases on college campuses and all star games.
Some kids play Connie Mack travel ball as well.
