Why try to steal with someone like CSpan on base who you can count on advancing the runner?

Being aggressive.  You have your lead off guy on.  The count is 2-2 which is a steal count.  You know the pitcher will be throwing something near the zone to hit.  You get your runner started with someone that can put something in the gap.  It keeps you out of a double play.  There were a lot of good things going for a steal there.  Also the best time for your best pick off move.
