Put this in another thread, but I think it needs to be here ...
I just realized this ... tonight will be the last game at Baum Stadium for the year. Win or lose.
TCU will most likely win their regional, and will host the winner of tonight's game next weekend.
Anyone who wishes to experience the magic and madness of Baum Stadium and Razorback Baseball one last time this year needs to be there tonight.

I'll bet that not only is the stadium packed, but also a standing room only crowd behind the outfield, and in the parking lots and roads!

I am fully convinced that we are going to break Missouri State's heart just as we did in the 2015 Super Regional. Nothing like putting out a team that plays from the winner's bracket. It will be a long drive home for them tonight.

We need to wear the cream throwbacks tonight like we did game 3 in 2015. If I recall the one time we wore them this year we played well.

That's my feeling too.   Go Hogs.

i agree, it's lee, alberius, and Chadwick in some order. After that you can probably go to kopps, taco, Stephan for a little bit.

The hope would be Chadwick is on and he can get you four innings or so.
While this would be very fortuitous it seems unlikely. Chadwick lately runs deep in counts and uses around 25 to 30 pitches an inning. I think 2 scoreless innings from the Howitzer would be grand.

Although I will be doing most of the pbp tonight, HogFansReunited will be doing the 2nd inning. He has subbed in for 5 games and we have won all of them. Not that as baseball fans we would be superstitious, but why take a chance? Right?

We're still 40 minutes from the first pitch and almost 3 full pages already.  We're ready!

For those wanting to see the official reason in writing why last nights game was continued ithis is from Missouri State's site.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Using a four-run eighth-inning rally in a steady downpour, top-seeded Arkansas overcame a late deficit to force a deciding game at the Fayetteville Regional with an 11-10 victory over Missouri State early Monday morning at Baum Stadium.

After the Bears (42-18) scored the tie-breaking run in the top of the eighth on Blake Graham's two-out single, the Razorbacks took advantage of sloppy playing conditions and a two-run homer from Jared Gates to claim an 11-8 lead. The game-clinching rally did not come without controversy, as home plate umpire Ramon Armendariz initially halted play prior to the start of the inning with substantial precipitation covering the field and rainfall accumulating at various points on the playing surface. But, after protests from the Arkansas dugout, that decision was overturned by NCAA Primary Site Representative Gene McArtor, thus allowing play to continue.

Not at all saying I believe in such hooey..... but I did put my dirty Razorback attire from Friday night on around the 5th inning of the ORU game Sunday and wore it til the wee hours of the night. I'm not saying it affects anything....but it's near by if we happen to fall behind again tonight. ;)

They are just messing with me by taking so long to post line-ups. I have to get ready.

Still on the mound. We need to hit him early and keep him from getting in a groove.

The same amount that Murphy threw yesterday...

I did not grow up being passionate about baseball in the same way I loved Hog basketball and to a lesser but still significant degree, football.  But I haven't been this antsy about an upcoming Razorback game of any kind in a looooong time.

Looks like Dallas Baptist will be facing TCU for the regional down there;  they'll need to win both, for us to host the Super.  Go DBU.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

ESPNU on PlayStation Vue still has the Fla - BC game.  Top 9 and Florida is the visiting team.  Will definitely not be done by 6
They were just skipping around.  They switched to Fayetteville at 6.
