How would one make the Arkansas women's track coaches aware that a girl in Salem, Oregon is interested in Arkansas? Oregon is already recruiting her and she's only a sophomore.  ???

Have her email them. Not you. Her. But if she is really good they already know about her. Which events does she run? Her times? And her grades?

Notice he says your boy instead of "our coach". Very telling.

I'm not worried. If he recruits like he did here Louisville will fire him in about 5 years.

I would also advise that the athlete contact Coach Harter or one of his assistants directly.  Arkansas recruits and attracts athletes worldwide, and has several athletes from the west coast.  It never hurts to make a contact and get on a coaches radar.
Go Hogs!

I was wrong, she's a Freshman but blowing everyone off the track.

How in the world does she run a 2:49 400m and a 2:35 800m?

Simple, and it's not a short cut. It just takes her about 400m to really get going; however, once she does the next 400m are UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! ;)

37-foot-2 inches in winning the triple jump and won the 200 meter dash (26.46 seconds) and 400 (1:00.17).

That seems really good for a freshmanperson in HS.
