About to get underway. Storms in the circle, Warrick back to DP after the Hedgcock experiment in Tuscaloosa. Some movement at the bottom of the batting order, as well -- notably, Russell moved way up out of 9-hole.

I repeat - we need to make some sort of adjustment on this pitcher. She's got a good-ish ERA (2.3-ish), and an okay W-L record, but we are making her look like an Olympian.

9 hitter singles to RF, scoring 2 runs, both unearned. 2-0 Tulsa
1 hitter hits a nubber single to 2b, runner advances to 3b. Runners at corners, 2 outs.
Runner steals 2b.
2 hitter singles up the middle, 2 more runs score - 4-0 Tulsa. Crap start to this game. 
3 hitter also singles, runners on the corners. Can't tell, but it would seem that Storms doesn't have her best stuff today.
Finally the third out on a grounder to 3b.

6 hitter erases runners by lining into DP - Russell snags liner and throws back to 1b. 2 outs.

8 hitter (former Hog Hailey Meinen) walks, runners 1st/2nd, two outs.
9 hitter homers, 7-0 Tulsa. Gooood night. Ugh.
Stewart plunks the 1 hitter.
Next batter walks. Man, we are getting nothing out of the circle today.
Hedgcock's turn. She comes in to pitch.
Runner steals 3b. Runners on the corners, 2 out.
Batter singles, scoring runner from third. Runners advance on throw home, 2nd and 3rd. We're now in run-rule territory, 8-0.

This is a bad night for us. I hope they wake up and make a game of this. Losing this way to a regional rival is not good.

Hedgcock gets 3rd out on a fly ball to RF.

Top of the order due up for the Hog, T4. TU pitching perfect game so far (going for the jinx there, obvs).

This is disappointing. Losing is one thing, but please be somewhat competitive. SMH!

Stick a fork in it - we go down 8-0 in 5 innings. Belans DID hit a double in the 5th to break up the no-no, at least.

Time to regroup and get ready for Tenn coming in this weekend. Man, what a disappointing performance against a mediocre Tulsa team.
