You guys think Barford tries to leave early? At the first of the year....

He, Macon, and Cook were talking about expecting to be JUCO one and done's. We already will have only two true big men again next year.  Don't want to be short on guards. Hopefully Glasper can play. We need to sign another good player, IMO.

27% from 3. Where exactly do you think he is going?

Obviously it doesn't make any sense, but it wouldn't be the first time an Arkansas basketball player made that mistake

His defense and mid range game. And open court game. He should finish this year strong and come back next year with a little pre-season hype. I agree that he's not quite ready. I hope he doesn't jump.

I think people have read a little too much into their comments from this summer. I took it as them saying hopefully their junior seasons go so well that they are high draft picks, not that they were only interested in playing one year in college and then taking their chances in the pro world. Both Macon and Barford could be All-SEC players next year, which would raise their profiles drastically. I think there's no question both are back.

Its a super deep draft this year, particularly at guard.   I doubt he even spends a moment seriously considering it.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

If he wants to be an NBA pg, he needs to learn to dish the ball. Yes, he can drive the lane, but he needs to learn to dish the ball as well.

He's a 1.5 or a 2 at the next level, not a PG.

There are plenty of 6'3 CG/SG's out there. His best chance is to try and become a true PG

Not really.    The market for smaller SGs and combo scorers is much deeper than that for PGs, which the NBA is eyeballs deep in already, and which this draft promises to offer another 3-5 elite prospects for next year.

I sure hope all the players stay, Barford and Macon can become better players and Arkansas needs them to return. Win Win for both them and Arkansas if they stay.

With the rule change, I would be surprised if both don't at least submit their names to get evaluated.  I fully expect both to be back, they have shown some great things this year, but it's also been obvious both need another year against D1 competition before they are ready for the NBA.

It would be a HUGE mistake if he declared after this season. He will not be drafted. As mentioned earlier the draft is deep this year unless he really catches fire in the SECT and the NCAAT and scouts take notice... To this point he has not done anything that jumps out at you that many of top players have done. Next year I think Arkansas will be a team to watch and as Senior the extra year could be huge for him. He seems like a hard worker so the extra year could really improve his game.
